Hot on the heels of previous releases, the multi-faceted musician drops off his stunning new single “The Makeshift Numbers”, serving up a stunning ballad led by piano notes and backed by echoing strings. Speaking on the single, King Curious states: “The Makeshift Numbers is a very personal song about a difficult period in my life. I had stepped away from music for a while and had no real intentions of writing again. But one day the piano kept looking at me from the corner of the room. Asking to be played. So I sat down and fumbled around a few notes and the song pretty much wrote itself. It was a definite closing of a chapter for me and in turn opened up the flood gates into writing the album.”

The critically acclaimed London talent first rose to prominence with his breakthrough acting role in cult hit film, ‘Across the Universe’, going on to appear in Hollywood smash ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’ with Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson, and ‘Cloud Atlas’ alongside Tom Hanks and Halle Berry, before landing the lead role in the smash 2011 film ‘One Day’ alongside Anne Hathaway - recently reinvigorated as a hit Netflix series.
